| Applications go to all students in February. Grants are decided on in March-April. Funds are distributed by mid-May. The notes received from students emphasize the impact that a gift has made for them-the encouragement and motivation that they get from someone believing in them and helping them jumpstart their future. These are not huge monetary gifts but can gift small items that students may otherwise not be able to afford. |
| The grant has typically helped 10-20 students, with grants ranging from $200-$400. Items purchased have included yearbooks, funds for a graduation party, help with purchase of a laptop for college, as well as dorm room supplies, tools for apprenticeships, etc. |
