The Stoughton Area Resource Team, Inc. (START) provides a safety net for those in crisis. Recently, a 30-year old single father of two struggled to find work, to pay for daycare for his children and to secure a home; so much time was spent homeless and hopeless.

If you are interested in helping the Foundation financially, talk to your financial advisor or contact us. If your organization might benefit from SACF support, please review The Process page or talk to one of our current board members listed on the site. Our September deadline is critical, though, so please make sure the application is complete and submitted on time. As the Stoughton Area Community Foundation begins it third decade, we can look back with respect and admiration to those who helped build it to its current successful operation. We also recognize those committed to looking ahead and building even more success. Special recognition, though, goes to Paul Sundby; one person with the determination to make Stoughton a better place and who started us on the path to realize our vision: Connecting people who care with causes that matter to enrich the Stoughton community.
