| Funds will be used for the kids and family-centered activities for the 2025 Taste of Stoughton event. This grant would go towards helping fund things like bounce houses, face painting, and other potential kids activities that may be added for the 2025 event. This event provides free activities for children in the community that may not get to experience them otherwise. This event also showcases exclusively local food, crafts, music, and business vendors in hopes that people continue to support these vendors in the future/draw business to Stoughton. Last year, our organization spent over $5,500 on kid activities alone for the annual event. |
| This grant would help keep the Taste of Stoughton 2025 event free for everyone (as it has been in the years past). Specifically, the grant money will help fund the child and family-centered events and activities and will keep them free of charge for festival attendees. The anticipated attendance for this event is 14,000 people (based on 2024 participation). This annual event is solely funded by sponsorships and donations. This grant would go a long way in helping fund this event. |
