| Funds will be used for the kids and family-centered activities for the 2024 Taste of Stoughton event. This would include the cost of the bounce houses, face painting (supplies, table, tent), and potential other kids activities that may be added for the 2024 event (ex: balloon twisting artist). This event provides free activities to children in the community that they may not get to experience otherwise. This event also showcases exclusively local food, craft, music, and business vendors in hopes that people continue to support these vendors in the future/draw business to Stoughton. |
| This grant would help keep the Taste of Stoughton 2024 event free for everyone (as it has been in years past). Specifically, the grant money will help fund the child and family-centered events and activities and will keep them free of charge for festival attendees. The anticipated attendance for this event is 14,000 people (based on 2023 participation). Proceeds from 2023 event went to numerous Stoughton based non-profits, and that is the goal again for the 2024 event. |
